The Mossy Forest is a cloud forest in the Cameron Highlands. It is constantly blanketed in mist. This moisture sustains a thick carpet of moss, ferns, orchids, and pitcher plants.
To protect the fragile roots, visitors use an elevated wooden boardwalk. This structure spans 200 to 600 meters. See The Main Boardwalk for details on what you will see along the path.

Big up Marvin!! Great tour visiting mossy forest, BOH tea plantation & strawberry farm, got picked up at our hotel which was great as the area is a little remote. Marvin our guide was very knowledgeable and took his time to show and explain the local wildlife and regional history to us. Would recommend :)
Excellent tour! Benjinthe tiur guide and driver was excellent. Full of knowledge. Good sights. Traffic can be slow. Be prepared, as ride can be bumpy and loud....to be expected with a land rover
Had a very positive experience! Went solo and was joined by a group of 7 other people. Our guide Ben is very professional and knowledgeable, sharing many interesting information about the places we were visiting. There was also sufficient time provided to walk around and explore each of the stops we were at.
Why it is magical? It feels like in the LOTR movie 😁. We were hiking up Mount Irau via mossy forest. Recommended. But pls check out the weather. Make sure no rain in a week
The views were amazing we took a picture of a snake one disadvantage is that there are too many stairs to climb.

The Pahang Forestry Department charges RM30 for foreign adults and RM15 for foreign children. Malaysian citizens pay RM10 per adult and RM5 per child. Payment is cash only.
The forest typically opens daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, it is subject to Friday closures and frequent temporary closures during the monsoon season (November to January). Always check locally before booking.
The elevated wooden walkway spans roughly 200 to 600 meters. Walking it usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. Learn more about the The Main Boardwalk.
Wear a windbreaker or light jacket, as the altitude keeps temperatures at 10-20°C. You will also need grippy walking shoes and a waterproof layer.
Leeches are uncommon as long as you stay on the designated elevated boardwalk. Do not step off the path into the vegetation.
